VAN PRIDE 2008:  Packed with Awesome stuff!

The whole month of July, and beginning of August are packed with parades, dances, festivals,  picnics, movie nights and much more!.   

This slew of events is put on by the hardworking  Vancouver Pride Society, who work to keep Vancouver a Queer friendly community.

 TQ Coffee Nights

Need a break with some friends?  Want to meet new people and see what's hapenning around town?  Come join us next time!

The 2nd and 4th friday of each month at Waves Coffee House on Kingsway and Olive (map)

5:30 to 7ish - look for TQ paraphernalia on the table to find us!

Upcoming nights: 

Getting there by bus:  Get to Metrotown (or to kingsway) and hop on the 19 Metrotown or 19 Stanley Park and ride till you see their huge blue Waves Sign.

Being Queer at BCIT can be hard some days, but this is a time to be yourself and relax with friends as you are-No judgements.

11:30am-1:30pm in the Advocacy Office  SE2 (room 285, between the Uconnect and the Copy Centre).

A Great time to relax and get to know fellow LGBTQ people and allies.   Very relaxed, and informal...
